"We entered with an open expectation. The food on the menu books looked great. We wish they were equally great in taste, when they served on the table. This is our first time trying Taiwanese food. It was okay. Nothing exceptional. But of course, the service and the place was great enough to earn 4 and 5 starts respectively."

"Varied dishes to suit all taste buds and served steamingly hot. Like their stewed belly pork slices to go with a hot rice bowl. And not to forget their Siew Loong Pau to be eaten whilst they're hot and straight from the steam cauldron."

"The food here is good! The braised pork rice is delicious and flavourful. Not a fine dining restaurant but the staff there were brilliant. Upon realising our bags, one of them automatically brought over a chair for us to put our bags. All without us asking. Excellent observation. The price is pretty fair. The portion is decently sized and is good for one’s stomach. Simple Chinese restaurant with good food!"

"Thanks for responding I will still definitely come back for the Champion Braised pork rice! I ve been taking the same and my friends love it too. That new beer must stay in the menu!! Love their coffee too!! --------------------------------- Visited recently. I dont understand some of the menu change to small sizes?? Especially the snack menu. Recently they include another type of beer. Now that one is good. Light and refreshing. --------------------------------- Love the food here. Ambience and all! Feels nostalgic being in this shop."

"Taiwanese cuisine specializing in rice & noodles dishes. Stir-fried dishes are available, mainly serving meat and seafood items. Plenty of options for vegetarians / vegans. May request for no alliums at best effort basis. Staff is friendly and smiley. Gives warm greetings and dining area is clean. Food taste is acceptable, not oily. Latte texture is thin."

"Great place to eat on weekdays at lunchtime, and a good place to take your family in the evenings or the weekend. The food is tasty and the service is warm. One other thing I like about this place is the takeaway kit - they don’t use much plastic which I really appreciate."

"Came for lunch during Ramadan month. They have some rotating promotional set meals which is good to keep things fresh and new. The Sauerkraut with White Pork Hotpot with shaved noodles suits my taste: Relatively light soup that's refreshingly sour but not overly so, fatty pork slices tasted amazing with the sauces provided in the set. The Champion Braised Pork Rice is defos not for the faint of heart. Was too fatty for our taste, but it does taste great. When asking for take-out options, the owner gave some great suggestions on certain dishes that are easier to reheat or can be eaten cold. If ordering any of the fatty pork dishes, you may either need to have more ppl to share or try to balance it out with vege...they have sets for that too."
